About Korea Guide Lab

Korea Guide Lab publishes independent English-language guides for international visitors to South Korea. The aim is to help you make a specific travel decision: choose the right terminal, understand a booking restriction or leave enough time to collect your bags before a train.

Who publishes these guides?

Guides are published under the editorial name Korea Guide Lab (코리아가이드랩). The site owner sets the editorial direction and contributes local suggestions. The site focuses on practical travel problems, alongside regional food and city itineraries.

How to read our research

Official operator, venue and public-agency information is the starting point for changeable details such as fares, entry rules and opening hours. The responsible service—not this site—determines current availability and eligibility.

A source check, a website-screen check and a completed booking are different things. When a guide describes a screen check, it should say which step was checked and where testing stopped. Seeing a payment option does not prove that a particular overseas card will work.

Suggested routes and worked examples are planning aids. They are not promises of a particular journey time, price, entry or available seat. Publication dates alone do not show that every detail was rechecked that day; use the dated source notes for the scope of a check.

Local suggestions, AI assistance and images

AI tools assist with research, English drafting, editing and illustrative images. Local suggestions from the owner are distinct from information checked against sources. A researched itinerary does not mean the author personally visited every stop or tested every booking method.

AI-generated illustrations are not documentary photographs. Buildings, signs, food and transport equipment may differ from reality; do not use an illustration to identify an exact place. Use official maps, venue photographs and on-site instructions for that purpose.

Corrections and commercial transparency

To report an error, send the guide URL, the disputed detail, the date you checked it and a supporting source through our Contact page. Corrections are reviewed before the affected guide is updated. Please do not send identity documents or payment details.

Sponsored placements and affiliate relationships, when used, must be disclosed near the relevant recommendation. An ordinary reference link does not itself indicate a commercial relationship.
